Baby Watch 2010
I know everyone is hoping that we would be posting baby pictures by now, but no such luck. It's so funny to have this date in your future of when your baby will arrive. You keep saying to yourself..."ok, April 25th we'll be parents." Then the day comes and goes and you're still pregnant. It's a good thing I told myself to expect at least 41 weeks. I know he'll come when he's ready and I'm cool with that. My doc is all excited to induce me, but I'm trying to keep her reigned in. We have a non-stress test today and as long as everything is alright we'll keep chugging along. I'm hoping for him to come some time this week. The full moon is on Wednesday and a storm is suppose to roll in at about the same time. Hopefully that will get things going. In the waiting time I'll just keep doing everything I can to get things going!

Easter Weekend
We had such a nice conference and Easter weekend. We got to enjoy watching the Sunday morning session on our computer. Of course it couldn't keep up if we watched full screen so we got to watch the little version. Then we got to enjoy a special meal at the Sinner's, it was delicious. And we got to find out that Ryan's little brother Casey proposed to his adorable girlfriend Mary! They are planning on getting married this fall and we couldn't be happier. That gives me five whole months to lose the baby weight.
Then it was off to my Mom's house to watch the second session and then enjoy another wonderful meal with Mom and Jen. It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend that ended much too quickly. Now it's already back to work and school. Luckily life never gets boring when you're counting down the days to your first little baby. Woohoo.

Baby update
The main update is that I'm still pregnant. We've been working hard at getting everything ready. The nursery is in progress, along with the hospital bag and the baby laundry. It's all starting to come together and I feel pretty confidant that if he came tomorrow we'd be pretty ready. As of now though it's no problem if he wants to hang out and cook a little longer.

The chaos that will soon be called nursery.
Instead of the usual belly shot this time around, I've bared a little more. We got matenity pictures done yesterday and you can check them out on our photographers blog if you'd like. ashleymackayphotography.blogspot.com
Cook the Sinner
Ashley Sinner is no longer a Sinner, now she is a Cook. She couldn't have picked a nicer family to marry into. I of course married into the best family (and became a little bit of a Sinner). The wedding was a fabulous March day. They were sealed in the American Fork Temple, which was beautiful, and then the day just kept going. We waited for the new couple to make their grand appearance then we got to enjoy taking some pictures in front of the Temple. Luckily after this the non newlyweds got to leave and get some much needed rest. I got to lay down for about an hour while Ryan studied. Poor kid had a physics test the next day. Then it was off to the luncheon and reception. It made for one long day for a super pregnant lady. My ankles were huge by the end of the night. Luckily everything worked out beautifully. The bride was gorgeous and the groom looked dapper in his tux. I had fun visiting with Kelli, Casey and Mary and all the other family that came to visit. I got to do the pregnant lady shuffle during the dancing hour and be known by everyone as the pregnant lady.
The cute couple
Guess who's pregnant?
The famed candy table. Their was much discussion on what candy would be on this table and how the table would be managed. It was quite the to do.
The coolest shower
My sister Jenny and my cousin Cortney threw me an awesome baby shower. Just check out the diaper cake. All the family was able to make it and a few friends of the family. Sadly Cortney couldn't make it, but we pretended she was there. Jenny had the most fun games. It turns out that me and Ryan have no idea how many diapers a baby uses in a day. (It's 8ish) Everything turned out so nice. The food was delicious, Carol and Mom helped out. Mom even made her oh-so-delicious homemade rolls. It was just about the most fun shower ever!!! Thanks guys.
