Back to school, back to school
I really shouldn't complain, Ryan has so much more going on. He's in physics +lab, chemistry + lab and stats. Another semester of working hard for my man. It's a good thing he's a lot more dedicated than I was in my undergrad. He rocked the summer semester (all A's!!!!!!) and I know he'll do great this fall.
What was I so busy doing?
Ryan and I had three days of summer together. I switched around my schedule a little so we could spend a few days living it up. The first day we slept in, it was wonderful. The next day we slept in and took Ryan to the optometrist, hence the nice sunglasses on the left. Then I'm sure we did something fun on the third day like sleep in. Then Ryan started teaching the drumline again for ten+ hour days. He was a busy, tired boy as demonstrated by the picture on the right that I took the night I brought him dinner. (The best enchiladas ever, made by Jenny and Mom. I'm glad someone will cook for my husband, because heaven knows I try to avoid it.) Now he's started school again and is working hard to be able to go to more school. Yea.
During this period we also went on a picnic with Becca and Brent and their adorable children Roxy and Cozet. Cozet is still very young, but Roxy is older and loves to pose for pictures. She is such a cute kid I have no problem taking a zillion pics. I also remember that we had a picnic with Brett and Betsy and Ethan. I must have left my camera at home though because I don't have any pictures of it. Just picture a nice warm summer afternoon and all of us enjoying hamburgers/veggie burgers and Ethan being super cute.
We also visited Jonathan working on his Eagle Scout project. It looked miserable and I'm super happy that I'm not a 16 year old boy. He was painting a pavilion behind the stake center...in the middle of August. It's a good thing that he is such a good person and had a wonderful attitude, because I'm sure I wouldn't have.
